Exploring My Closet

I went through my entire closet today. Tried everything on hoping to find many items that were falling off. That wasn't the case, but it was still a pretty good outcome.

Apparently I have always *thought* I was the size I am now so I bought clothes that were too small. And then they just sat there in my closet. I had kind of forgotten about all of it. It's like having a new wardrobe for free. I took just a few pictures...ha!

Thinking about chunking this one. Not sure yet.

These pants were TIGHT when I first started losing weight!

Check it out--this is my little black dress. I can't zip it up but I CAN get it on my body and still breathe. Yeehaw!

Ok, now everybody go dig through your closets and see what you can find!

Not much in mine! Years of being overweight have kept me from buying anything but the "absolute have to wears...so as not to scare anyone in public with my nudity".......but I LOVE yours! Super cute!

Love your pics! You do, indeed! Have a new wardrobe. I tried on clothes today at Eddie Bauer with my mom and I was almost in tears. But. That's just more incentive to give it my all. The ONLY part of me that refuses to budge is my tummy. Sigh.

Keelie-
You look great! Look at those pants. That speaks volumes for how hard you have been working!!

I've been trying on a few things from my closet. Some are like your black dress...not quite there yet, but way better than just a few months ago.

What fun to have a clothes store in your bedroom! So many SOOOO cute clothes!

I kind of agree with you about the printed one, tho. It fits nice, but the others look wonderful. That one may not be quite "you."

You keep having fun, girl!

I love this! You're clothes are so cute. I want to steal that lime green coat, though I wont because yeah, it wouldn't fit me...and I'm not mean. Keep it up Miss Keelie, you look spectacular.

Love the clothes. I'll say it again, "you have great taste." In another 10 - 15 lbs., I'll have 5 new shirts and 2 new skirts. I'm anxiously working for my "new clothes".

You look fabulous, Keelie! I need you to come & help me shop - you have great taste. Love all your little jackets. You are such a snazzy dresser!

I have gone through my clothes over the last couple of weeks & boy, I have a lot that doesn't fit me anymore. Lots of things I held on to for "when I lose 10 lbs." & even they are too big now. I did try on a lined linen sheath dress & jacket suit that I used to wear & just couldn't part with. I wanted to wear it last fall (it's black) & I couldn't get it past my hips. Last week, I tried it all the way on & got it zipped! It's still a bit snug but I can't wait to wear it soon.

We are doing this! Thanks so much for your sweet & encouraging words!

You are so cute! Those outfits look great! Doesn't it feel good to look good?

I went through my closet this weekend and finally got rid of my maternity clothes! Little man is sixteen months old, so it's about time!

Its funny that you mention that you must have bought for the size you are now because I kind of had that same experience lately. I had been getting really frustrated that I had lost so much weight and my clothes weren't falling off of me- thats when it dawned on me that though my clothes fit when I was heavier- they didn't fit as they were supposed to and I was probably, actually buying too small of clothes for my bigger self. My clothes definitely fit much better on me now- and come of the pants are getting to the falling off point- now after months and months. I imagine you're going through the same thing! It won't be long- keep up the awesome work!
