At my FP4H meeting last week, we came across a sentence that said we should set realistic goals and then relentlessly act toward reaching those goals. We were told to believe strongly and act relentlessly. The word RELENTLESS has been embeded in my mind ever since then.
Relentless (adj.) showing or promising no abatement of severity, intensity, strength, or pace.
I like this word. Yes, I do.
Severe in my faith.
Intense in my training.
Strenth in the truth.
Paced through His presence.
This is the essence of weight loss. Relentlessness is not an option. It's a requirement.
Check out these posts by Sam and 266 for some inspiration.

Relentless. Persevere. Diligent. The second two I came up with on my own.
Then from the thesaurus, there's dogged, single-minded, undeviating, and so on and so forth.
Thanks for the mental pick-me-up.
Ooooohhh... I like that!! I want to be RELENTLESS to reach my goals. YES!

Thanks Keelie!!
It's certainly not something that can be done with half a heart, is it? I think that's where we run into trouble: we expect to be able to 'give it a shot' and see real change in our habits and bodies. But I would suspect that, anyone who has lost weight and maintained the loss, would attest to the notion that it takes real grit and a 'relentless' determination.
Thanks for posting this. It's amazing how powerful one word can be. ;)

Hi Keelie! I get a lot out of your posts especially when you add your faith notes in! I'm hoping if you get a chance you'll read my post from today: http://p90xonegirlsstory.blogspot.com/2010/08/me-i-want-to-be.html
Hi, Keelie! I mentioned you in my post today.
Funny, when I came here just now to let you know, I was surprised to see that I didn't have a comment here. I was sure I posted one--I wonder if I'm having trouble with my comments taking...
Anyway--relentless. It is such a powerful, strong, forward-pushing word. I love it! Thanks.
Deb
You look great! I however, am discusted with myself. I gave up, gained the weight back and need to find motivation to start all over. Was it hard when you first started? What kept you going?
