I thought it would be fun to have a special day set aside in my little blog world to do just that--share food faves and finds. Each Friday I will try to share something with you and I hope you'll do the same.
Food Faves and Finds might include (but are not limited to):
- a great recipe
- product reviews
- favorite go-to meals
- exceptional restaurant selections
- new discoveries
- awesome substitutions
The possibilities are endless. I think we can all benefit from sharing in the experiences of others, so this should be great...as long as some people participate! Let me know what you think about this idea.

Hi Keelie! I've officially read through your whole blog - started last night, went to bed, and resumed this morning. I've gained so much by reading your posts! Thank you!! I've been so encouraged and inspired to get my butt in gear. My husband and I are both determining to get healthy - he's lucky that he is a twig and can eat like he has two hollow legs - but he's starting to get a belly. So it's catching up with him. I on the other hand, and completely not that way. But we had a very honest conversation about how we are letting our bodies go. It was very healing but now is where the action comes in...the rubber meets the road. So, today I started my first official day of Weight Watchers. Doing good so far...I've only been up for a couple of hours though, lol! Just wanted to let you know what an encouragement you are. So awesome all of your progress!! I admire your transparency. Can't wait for Friday's post! I'm participating...I'm working on what I'll post today. Thank you again!!! Good luck today!!
And P.S. Thanks for writing me back about the tilapia!! Sounds easy and looks soo good!

Wow. I don't really know what to say. I am so happy to have encouraged you.
Weight Watchers is a great program. I lost 30 pounds a couple of years ago and stopped when I got pregnant. I am now picking up where I left off.
I look forward to being able to ecourage one another!

Googie--if you participate Friday (by doing a post about one of your food favorites or a good find) then you can put the little button somewhere on your post. That way people can click on the button and come back to see what others have linked up as well. I will have a MckLinkey set up so you can attach your post over here and then others can click on it and come to your blog. I guess that osunds pretty confusing...I will go over all of it again on Friday. Just be thinking of something to share!

Keelie - I did have a good day! I scheduled out my meals at the beginning of the day and measured and recorded everything. I even accounted for snacks to try to keep my blood sugars even. I'm not going to meetings as we can't afford it right now, so I'm sort of going on my own. That's why I'm so loving your blog! :) Thanks for the encouragement. It's mucho appreciated! Hope you had a good day today! How was it? And just so you know, I'd write back to you on email but you are listed as a "no reply commenter". Just so ya know. :)
