Pants on the Ground (Almost)

What you are looking at here is a little thing I like to call "ROOM." It's a nice quality to have in certain parts of clothing like, say the waist of a pair of jeans. A buttoned pair of pants that I can actually pull away from my flesh is totally cool. Too bad they look like this from behind now...

Doesn't it kind of look like these clothes are falling off of me? Yeah. Cause they are.

Tonight was my FP4H meeting. This is when I usually weigh-in, and I did, but I have decided to change my official weigh-in day/time to Monday morning on my own scale. It is too confusing to always wonder. Just to kill the suspense, I did not reach Onederland tonight, although it is possible that I could be there in the morning. We shall see.

On another note, a sort-of somber note, my meeting leader was not there tonight. Her father is terminally ill and in the final days, likely hours, of his life. Our leader is a strong woman of the Lord and she is an inspiration to me. While at his bedside, this is the text message she sent our group shortly before the meeting this afternoon:

Watching my dad laying here holding onto life, while the Best is close if he would just let go, I am reminded of our study this week. He wants to transform us. What are we waiting on? Let go and let Christ change you. He is waiting.

If you know Christ then you understand the profound nature of that message. If you don't know Him, you really should. He makes this journey so meaningful. I'd love to tell you about Him so email me if you want: keeliesue@live.com.

Please say a prayer for my leader and her family. She's also my mom...

Job 19:25-27
"But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, and that he will stand upon the earth at last.
And after my body has decayed, yet in my body I will see God !
I will see him for myself. Yes, I will see him with my own eyes. I am overwhelmed at the thought!"
Praying over your mom and grandad.
Jealous of your pants on the ground!

Baggy pants are a cool feeling!

I am praying. So we are talking about your mom and your grandpa, right?

Baggy jeans are awesome! Good excuse for a little shopping. :-)

I will keep your leader & her family in my prayers. It'll be 22 years in March since I lost my Dad to cancer & know how painful it is... even when you know they are headed for a far better place.

All things are possible if you believe in the Lord. When my grandpa passed away from colon cancer two years ago in February, we were all so happy that he was finally getting to see his Maker. He wanted us to be happy and not sad of his passing. Your family is in my prayers!!

Oh, Keelie. Praying for all of you during this difficult time and rejoicing that your Grandpa knows Jesus and will soon rest in His arms.

Congratulations on the pants on the ground! On Friday, I was able to put on a pair of jeans I hadn't been able to zip in 2.5 years! It's great to feel great again! Keep it up and thanks for the inspiration!
