girl you are gorgeous. :) I'm seriously jealous of that beautiful hair.

I went bathing suit shopping yesterday, I was so excited to buy a size 8 (after being a 24/26 last year). But darn it every suit I tried on was WAAAY to short in the torso, like boobs hanging out short. I'm 5'8", not 7'. I wonder what that was all about. Oh well, I'll keep looking. :)

And I think pictures are great motivation! Keep up the great work.

I have always reminded me of Britney. For I while I was telling peolple that I thought that and they would look at me like I was the biggest idiot ever. So I quit. But since you think so I may have to start mentioning again.Honestly I have a pic that really looks like her.

I have also been told I remind people of Tori Spelling which i kind of see when watching my video back. more because of how i talk than look..

Putting the video of myself talking was more scary than showing the bathing suit..because I always get made fun of for my southern/hick accent. I don't think it was too bad but if a Yankee is reading you might think otherwise.lol.

Is the term Yankee offensive? sorry.

I read the title and thought no way. But you did it! I am so impressed! You are so fantastic and looking good!

I am right there with you on the 'no more skirted' swimsuits! I actually have that written as a goal. However I am no where near that. My legs are my trouble spot and currently they still have tons of cellulite. But hey, I am working on it!

Way to go!!! A little of a repeat, but you are gorgeous!!!!

I can' wait til I'm ready for a swimsuit picture... I'm not quite ready yet, but you are inspiring me everyday! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

You look really cute!!! Definitely brave to be that vulnerable in your bathing suit. I love the back picture, though - so pretty! You really are very photogenic! :)

Kudos to you for this! No shame in posting motivational pictures! I think it's such a great idea that if I knew where my bathing suit was, I would totally join ya. But it's been so long since I've worn it, I haven't a clue! So sad.

I'm supposed to be going through storage this weekend and I have a feeling it's in there somewhere, so if I find it I'll be sure to let you know... :)

I love this post...and I think it's awesome that you posted pics of yourself in a bathing suit.
I have pics on my blog in my bathing suit from when I weighed 366 pounds (http://alltheweigh2009.blogspot.com/2010/01/travel-fever.html) so 200 doesn't seem weird at all to me. The thing is...I'm not ashamed of who I am or who I was because I'm becoming the person I want to be. And that's what I'm seeing in your post today too.
This is awesome...thanks for sharing!

I completely agree about the firefighter/emt way of life wreaking havoc on eating habits. Thankfully I work 1 shift a week as part of my university and at home it is just volunteer. However, when I was getting my EMT and rode out on the city ambulance for their 12 hr shifts, I noticed that they eat junk food all the time especially since they usually get discounts at gas stations, they eat at odd hours, and often have to go hours and hours without eating if it is a busy shift. Everytime I work there is always some sort of awesome bad food around... rrr!

You are hilarious!! I love the video and you are Super brave to take your pic in a bathing suit and put it out there for everyone to see......and you look great! You are so pretty and your personality makes you even more so, and I secretly covet that beautiful red hair (oops, its not a secret anymore...oh well! lol). Keep up the great work!

Hey Keelie! I've only got ten days before I will be putting on my swimsuit. I think I waited too long to start the shape up routine. It may seem silly to some because I am only trying to lose ten or fifteen pounds, but I've been working at it for about three weeks and the pounds refuse to budge! Okay, I've lost one (ONE!) pound. It just doesn't seem like that much for all the exercising and cutting back I've been doing. Today I decided I needed to add weights to the regimen and I'm hoping that helps.

Well, back to the cross trainer I go...

Wow. YOU ARE AMAZING! You have guts and look beautiful! LOVED the video. I'm SO proud of you. Maybe one of these days I'll get it together as well. Love ya!

Kenz--I love what you said at the end. I will def be doing a post on that soon. Words of wisdom! Thanks.

CandoMom--I do not think you are silly for wanting to lose 10 or 15 pounds. If I had tried to get control of my problem when I was only 10 lbs. over I wouldn't be OBESE right now. Kudos to you. Keep it up--you will start dropping. HOpe the weights help.

Thanks to everyone, as always, for your kind words and encouragement. It means so very much to me. ((hugs))

LOVE IT! You look great in your 'grandma bathing suit' (got a glimpse of those hot mama legs again!). I hear ya though...I have a grandma-ish bathing suit with a little sarong that came with it to tie around the waist and attempt to hide my sausage-thighs (which are shrinking, btw!). Perhaps when I get closer to the 'onderland' neighborhood, I'll post a swimsuit pic too...who know!
PS - somehow I didn't know you lived in TX...but I'm a former Texan myself! Grew up in Richardson/Plano/Garland outside Dallas. Imagine the shock to my system when my family moved me up north!!!
