Pre-Workout Breakfast

This is my pre-workout breakfast because it has plenty of protein but is light on the tummy. It goes against every fiber of my being to measure out 1 tablespoon of peanut butter and divide it between two pieces of bread, but I do it. In the name of strapless bras.

sandwich thin (100 c)
1/2 banana (50 c)
1 T peanut butter (100 c)
honey drizzle (50 c)
1 c grapes (100 c)
1 c skim milk ( 100 c)

Total ............. 500 calories

I have been trying to reverse my meal sizes so that breakfast is my biggest meal, calorie-wise. I am not quite there but making significant strides in that direction. I'd love to hear some other protein-packed breakfast ideas!

I have a friend that lost a lot of weight. He said that he always used the motto "Eat Like a King for breakfast, a queen for lunch, and a princess for supper." He ate lots of protein too. I've been trying to follow that, but I'm just not a huge breakfast eater!!

Cottage cheese is a great way to add in protein. I don't really like it, but can eat it with some peaches on top. Egg beaters are another goto source for protein for me. I love the Hungry girl egg cups. They taste great and are low in calories. You already are eating peanut butter. That's my favorite breakfast protein! I love a peanut butter, sugar free jelly sandwich on the way to work!

I have been doing the same. Had to change my menu. For breakfast, I've been having a bowl of oatmeal with honey and cinnamon on top, a whole wheat bagel, and a banana. I'm down 3 lbs since Monday morning. WOOT!

That breakfast you posted looks YUMMY! I think changing the menu up and moving calories around and also changing up the routine really does a body good!

Have a super day Keelie!
