(Glorious) Workout Update

I am thrilled that Spring is here! The 4 mile route I have been run/walking is so full of life and God's Glory! I look forward to getting on it everyday. I took some pictures this morning. Enjoy!

My view as I step out of my driveway onto the road.

Irises on the side of the road. Gorgeous!

Sweet little guy who cheers me on at the 3/4 mile marker.

The grass is the most beautiful hue of green right now.

Love these old barns.

Post Workout with my baby girl ♥

Today my run was actually an act of worship. I was using my body for His glory in the midst of His glory. It seemed that the rolling grass, the rustling trees, the whistling winds...had all joined with me in praising our Creator and Risen King. It was truly glorious!

1 Corinthians 10:31
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

Exodus 15:2
The LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father's God, and I will exalt him.

can I come run with you?! I'll take pictures of my route tonight. There will be NO envy...trust me. God's glory comes in all shapes and forms - my route is all neighborhood - barking dogs, lots of moss (Got to love the PNW and it's dampness), and the occassional neighbor...but it's right outside my door, it's what I've got, and for that I'm grateful!
anyways- have a glorious day!

Gosh, it is beautiful and spring where you are!! I am way to far north to have green yet but can't wait. I am just enjoying that we have no snow and usually, we still would! Great pictures, thanks for sharing!!

what a beautiful tribute to God! as i look around at the spring scenery here, i keep thinking about that verse (somewhere in the psalms?!): the earth is the Lord's and the fulness thereof.

i agree with the previous comment- look at you glow!!! you are blessed.

So beautiful! It makes me even more desperate to move to the country. I'm a country girl at heart - through and through. Did you know that you are just glowing? Truly radiating God's beauty.

Beautiful route! I'm afraid I have too much city around me for beautiful pictures just now, but the news is in: I'm moving to the "country" for a different university and hopefully a more picturesque view.. I will share my new route when I get there in a few monthes, until then I will be oogling yours. Haha!

It's slowly warming, but the grass isn't green here yet but I really must talk Ryan into talking me for a drive to a nice park or trail this weekend for a nice long walk/run...

Wow, that's gorgeous! Running near my house is not exciting, which is why I generally don't. :( I'm technically not in a city, but I'm surrounded by a bunch of houses and nothing more (unless you go a little ways down the road, and then you can sneak a peak at the lake which is beautiful, but I'm not in good enough shape to run the hills yet--therefore we're sticking to the treadmill for now).

I have to mention it again...you are beautiful...and radiant in these pics. I'm so proud of all that you've done...and you inspire me...I'm a couple months behind you in my journey...but when I feel in need of inspiration I come here. thanks! PS, I'm gonna link this post up to my We Love Workouts meme.

Happy Easter celebrating our Risen Lord!
